2009 saw an increase in the level of discussion around systems administration tools and practices particularly coming out of the web operations world. Discussion about practices has begun coalescing around terms such as devops, agile infrastructure, agile operations.

We are hosting a GeekNight aimed specifically at those involved in build, deployment, supporting, scaling and generally being at the end of a pager.
